Pasikudah

A historical Tamil hamlet, named Pasikudah, is today a world tourist attraction, 35 kms north to Batticaloa. A famous Hindu temple is located in this coastal village, now it is becoming a town. The shallow reef coastline is one of longest stretches of the world. People walk kilometers into the sea as water is only few inches deep, since one of world’s finest experience that ever made available. It is ideal for sun bathing since it gets only few showers of rain due to dry zone climate.
